Network Expansion

The Sustainable Forestry and African American Land Retention (SFLR) Network seeks up to two new Network Sites in Texas, Florida, Tennessee, or Louisiana.

This grant opportunity provides up to $400,000 over two years to support forestry and land retention programs.

Who can Apply?

Demonstrated organizational capacity and community trust

Demonstrate the ability to raise a 25% funding match (not required at proposal stage, but capacity must be shown)

Have strong relationships or the ability to collaborate with NRCS, state forestry agencies, and other government partners

Possess the management capacity to support forestry and legal assistance programs.
